Cane weaving is a beautiful craft and any element of this art should be cared for properly. Be gentle and consistent in your care. Dust regularly and on occasion apply a light coat of furniture oil. Do not in any circumstances clean with water as this damages the weave. Otherwise clean regularly and be careful while moving things around to avoid chipping and scratches. Keep away from direct sunlight.
